About Me

Freddie - profesh headshot

I am committed to clear, effective, and on point communication that is professional, personable, and pleasant. (I also like alliterations.) I am always seeking opportunities to lend my expertise and unique perspective to organizations, individuals, and projects I wholeheartedly believe in.

I am a writer, artist, and community organizer. I am a member of the Transgender Advocacy Group, a coalition of organizations and individuals across California who support, advocate for, and organize alongside our transgender community behind bars. I work on a coalition supporting the Trans RAD Act (SB 132), which addresses housing and safety for incarcerated trans folks. I am a fellow on the 2019-20 Criminal Justice Reform Team of the Women’s Policy Institute.

I published an interview project called The World We Want to Live In. This project asks artists, activists, and healers: how are you building the world we want to live in?

I bring my whole self to my communications work, maintaining professionalism as well as my and others’ humanities. I am grateful to work with and for organizations, projects, and individuals with shared community and values. I use they/them pronouns. I am based in the North Bay of California and work with people, organizations, and projects all over the U.S.
